While the average routine for most teachers comprises daily duties and personal engagements, Asif Iqbal, a 41-year-old teacher, exemplifies an extraordinary commitment that extends far beyond the traditional roles.

His passion for teaching goes beyond the classroom walls. Asif’s dedication spans across various domains, including social work, promotion of Urdu language and literature, active political participation, and tireless efforts toward educational empowerment. Unlike many, his primary focus lies in the upliftment of students and communities, striving to instigate positive transformations in their lives.

Embarking on his journey after completing a Diploma in Education, Asif began his career at a Zilla Parishad primary school in 2001. However, it was his departure from a secure government job in 2010 that marked a pivotal shift. At the young age of 28, he joined a renowned government-aided school in his city, ultimately rising to the position of Head Master at the SSA Urdu Primary School in Solapur.

His responsibilities extend far beyond the confines of an educational institution. As the spokesperson for the City Indian National Congress committee and President of the Lions Club Solapur (Classic), Asif actively engages in diverse social and political roles. Additionally, his affiliations with organizations like the All India Human Rights Association, Khidmate Khalq Organization of India, and various literary bodies underline his multifaceted contributions.

Asif’s devotion to education and his compassionate approach have earned him immense popularity among students and parents alike.

Maaz A. Gafoor Sagri, one of his brightest students currently preparing for NEET, hails Asif as a motivator who consistently creates platforms for students to showcase their talents. Despite the school’s substantial size of nearly 2000 students, Asif manages to establish personal connections with a vast majority, prioritizing character and behavior development.

Dr. A.A. Pagan, a PTA member of the school, lauds Asif Iqbal for his administrative prowess, capacity for work, and forward-thinking attitude. According to Dr. Pagan, Asif’s initiatives have brought about positive changes and regular personality development activities within the school.

In a conversation with Muslim Mirror, Asif reflects on the dearth of educational infrastructure in his city, especially for the substantial Muslim population. He laments the absence of universities and well-equipped campuses, emphasizing the need for investments in education over commercial endeavors like land development and construction projects.

Highlighting the broader educational landscape in Maharashtra, Asif points out the scarcity of institutions offering higher and professional education, while acknowledging the few notable ones like PA Inamdar University in Pune and Anjuman E Islam in Mumbai.

Asif’s vision extends beyond his current commitments. He expresses a strong desire to build an Asian Minority University, a dream he is diligently working towards with the acquisition of a 100-acre land. This envisioned educational hub aims to become a center for Indian Muslims, fostering educational growth and empowerment.

His influence on Urdu literature and poetry is equally significant. As a host to numerous All India Mushairas, including prestigious events like the Delhi Urdu Academy in the presence of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Asif has actively contributed to nurturing Urdu literary talents.

Despite commendations for his leadership potential in politics, Prakash Wale, a senior Congress Party leader, advocates for Asif’s continued presence in the education sector, acknowledging its need for individuals like Asif Iqbal, while cautioning about the intricate nature of politics.

Farmer’s daughter Ayesha becomes Judge

Unfovourable conditions were my inspiration, which pumped me to achieve something and bring positive and healthy change in family’s financial status, said Ayesha.

It is an inspiring story of 24 years Old Village girl Ayesha Aziz pasha Peerzade who defeated all odds and cracked the MPSC exam on her first attempt and became judge .


After four years of legal education, she has passed the first class examination of the Civil Judge Junior Division and the Judicial Magistrate. About 15,000 students from across the state sat for the exam. However, only 190 students have passed the exam and grab in the final list. Ayesha Rank is 99.

The girl who is eldest among five sisters from Tolanur, a small village in Akalkot taluka in Solapur district, has achieved a tremendous success which has brought smile on faces of her relatives and village people.

She is claimed to be the first girl in the district to be a judge at such a young age.

Tolanur is about 40 km from Akkalkot town and 70 km from Solapur city . Due to the difficulty of language in the village, Karnataka border is within walking distance of the village. Only up to 10 education facilities is available in the village.

Hence Ayesha along with her three sisters had to shift to Solapur city for higher education and she joined Dayanand Vidhi College.

During Conversation with Millattimes.com Ayesha shared, those days were challenging for us, we, four sisters used to live in small rented room for years. During stay we faced financial crunch several times.

Ayesha’s father, Azizpasha is a small landholding farmer. Agriculture is the only means of livelihood in the village. They have five daughters. But despite the circumstances, they did not allow their daughters to go away from education. Four out of five girls are highly educated. Their fifth daughter is also attending school.

He also taught Ayesha with the same amount of hard work. The family is happy after this success. Aisha also had tears of joy.

According to Ayesha in some Muslim families, girls are usually not motivated for education. But we are fortunate enough.

Competitive exam guide Asif Yatnal commented that, Ayesha’s performances is encouraging. She has become a role model for Muslim community girls. We should try to create awareness among Muslim youngsters to join judiciary, Asif added further.

Adv. Asim Bangi lauded Ayesha’s success and congratulated her. He said that cracking such an important exam in a young age is really appreciable.Hope that more and more girls will take inspiration from this rural area girl’s remarkable success, added Adv. Asim.

Maharashtra: Hospital run by Muslim religious body to meet healthcare needs of poor

The hospital built by Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind (JUH) in Solapur, Maharashtra will provide healthcare services to poor patients at minimum rates regardless of caste, religion and creed.

Solapur (MAHARASHTRA) :

To meet the healthcare needs of poor and marginalized sections of society, Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind (JUH) has built a hospital in Solapur, Maharashtra. 

Thrown open to patients in late July this year, Jamiat-E-Ulema Day-Care Hospital aims to make health facilities accessible to the poor and needy at a minimum charge. The hospital was inaugurated by Maharashtra state president of JUH Maulana Nadeem Siddique and attended by several eminent doctors and activists. 

During his address, Maulana Nadeem said that “the hospital will provide excellent services to the poor patients at a very modest rate regardless of caste, religion and creed.” 

“The OPD (outpatients department) and a medical store are functioning right now and the daycare facilities will begin soon,” the medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Farooque Mulla told TwoCircles.net. 

Dr Farooque said that besides having an OPD, the hospital also administers ESG, and all types of blood tests at 30 to 50% discounted charges. “Specialist doctors also visit us to handle major cases.” 

Talking about the need to open such a healthcare facility for the needy, JUH district president Maulana Ibrahim Qasmi told TwoCircles.net that “health and education are basic facilities which should be provided free of cost or lowest fees but unfortunately these two have become a lucrative business.” 

“Considering the need of the hour we have started this hospital on a 5000 square feet plot,” he said. 

Maulana Ibrahim said that “serving the poor is the aim of the hospital.” 

“We are concentrating on the health and education sector by using all our resources. Our new venture will be to prepare students from marginalized communities for competitive exams by holding classes,” he said. 

The infrastructure cost of the hospital was borne by collecting donations from people. 

“We are doing all this by collecting donations from people. I must say that our city-based Biradaris (sections) have donated wholeheartedly,” Hasib Nadaf, General Secretary JUH told TwoCircles.net. 

Nadaf said that during the pandemic, JUH set up a Covid Care centre at the same premises. 

“This new multi-speciality hospital is our dream project,” he said. 

Social activist Salahuddin Peerzade lauded this initiative by JUH. 

“JUH always takes the lead in all humanitarian work. Everyone must come forward and help them to achieve their targets,” he said. 

For Ashfaque Bagwan, a young political and social activist, the city of Solapur is in dire need of speciality hospitals, especially for women. “I frequently receive complaint calls from many women who face neglect at government hospitals. The fact is that poor patients always struggle to get their healthcare needs met,” he said. 

Bhagwan added that he hoped the new hospital set up by the JUH will have a well-equipped gynaecology department.
