Masjid Hajira Hassan, Sullia Community Centre of SECT to be inaugurated on February 12

The inaugural ceremony of the Masjid Hajira Hassan and Sullia Community Centre is being organized by the Sullia Educational and Charitable Trust (SECT) on Sunday, February 12.

The Masjid and Community Centre will be inaugurated by Mohammed Yunus Hassan, entrepreneur, Al Khobar and trustee, Team B-Human, at 9.30 am on Sunday, SECT has said in a press release.

The inaugural will be held in the presence of T Arif Ali, general secretary, JIH; Maulana Shoaib Hussaini Nadwi, Khateeb, Kutchi Memon Masjid, Mangaluru; Muhammed Kunhi, Khateb, Masjidul Huda, Thokkottu; Hussain Kamil Saqafi, Khateeb, Juma Masjid, Shanti Nagar, Velam; Maulana Yahya Thangal Madani, Khateeb, Havva Juma Masjid, Bolangady; U T Khader, MLA, Mangalore Constituency, former Minister for Urban Development and Housing; Sri Angara S, MLA, Sullia Constituency and Minister of State for Fisheries; A K M Ashraf, Member of Kerala Assembly; B M Farooq, MLC, Karnataka; Zakariya Jokatte, CEO, Al Muzain Saudi Arabia and trustee, Hidaya Foundation; M Sharif Bolar, CEO, Whitestone Group, Saudi Arabia, and trustee, Team B-Human; Mr. Vinay Kumar Kundadka, president, Sullia Town Panchayat; and Mr. M B Sadashiva, state spokesperson, JDS Karnataka, said the Trust.

Expertise’s Sheikh Karnire receives Saudi’s Premium Residency ‘Green Card’

KS Sheikh Karnire, Vice President of Expertise Contracting Ltd, has become one of the few Indians to receive permanent residency in Saudi Arabia after the Kingdom recently permitted foreign nationals to own business and property without the need for a sponsor.

Reacting to the news Sheik said, “My heartfelt thanks to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and the entire Saudi Government. No doubt, this is a proud moment for me. The Premium Residency, informally known as Saudi Green Card, is a residence permit in Saudi Arabia that grants expatriates the right to live, work and own business and property in the Kingdom without the need for a sponsor.

The introduction of the Premium Residency comes as a part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reform plan, which was announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to boost the Saudi economy.

It can be recalled that Sheik and his team had supported the stranded employees and families during COVID 19 pandemic to safely bring them back from Saudi to India through more than 10 chartered flights to the various cities of India. They are also running an NGO under the name of KS Sayeed Charitable trust supporting a number of downtrodden families with food, shelter, and education.

Hailing from a village Karnire, Near Mangalore, Mr.Sheik had entered the kingdom as an Automobile Engineer and built the company along with his 5 other brothers.
