12 NEET toppers from Shaheen Group will go for medical education, says chairman

Dr. Abdul Qadeer, chairman of the Shaheen Group of Institutions, Bidar, has expressed pride in the excellent performance of the Hifzul Quran course students at the Shaheen College in the NEET 2022.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer said that 12 students who had completed the Hifzul Quran Plus course at the Madrasa have gotten ranks in NEET and expect to be selected for the MBBS course in government medical colleges.

He was addressing a press meet at the Darussalam Hall of the Bangalore Islamic Foundation Trust, Queen’s Road, on Tuesday.

“The ‘Academic Intensive Care Unit (AICU)’ of the Shaheen Group provides a three-month foundation course of Mathematics and Language for students who have completed the Hifzul course through Madrasa education, without attending school, and for school dropouts. After this, a one-month bridge course is conducted in Science for the students to get admitted to Class 10. Next comes a year-long education with state syllabus or NIOC syllabus for the Madrasa-educated students to answer the Class 10 examinations. The intermediate course for two years, after this, prepares students for examinations like JEE, UPSC and NEET,” said the chairman.

He added that the Shaheen Group has been working for 12 years at getting Madrasa-educated students into the education mainstream. “With a view to ensure that all gates of education and career, including IAS, IPS, MBBS and Engineering, are opened for the Madrasa students and not restrict them to the religious field, we have started 35 AICU centres all over India. For the benefit of the Hafiz near Bengaluru, an AICU was started last year in Bannikuppe. More such centres will be opened at Darul Umar in Srirangapatna and Kanakapura. The Hafizes who have scored more than 350 marks in the NEET 2022 will be trained for free in our 12 residential complexes.”

Dr. Qadeer also said that, of the 1,800 Shaheen Group students who answered NEET this year, 450 students are expected to get free medical education seats, adding, “Of the government seats, students of our institutions expect to get 14 per cent.”

Hafiz Muhammad Ali Iqbal, who scored 680 in NEET, said that the four-year-long Hifzul course had helped him a lot. “I had quit my schooling to become a Hafiz. Studying with the Shaheen Group helped me score 68 in SSLC and 96 per cent in PU examinations,” he said and stated that he wished to become a doctor.

Jamia Ulum Shaheen Hifz Plus Academy director Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Falcon Shaheen Education Institutions director Abdul Subhan and the Madrasa students who had topped NEET were among those who attended the press meet.

Students of Hubballi, Dharwad excel in NEET

Students of Hubballi and Dharwad have done well in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission to medical courses, with several students scoring above 600 marks

Students of Hubballi and Dharwad have done well in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to medical courses, with several scoring above 600 marks.

Gagan Thimmanagoudar of KLE Society’s P.C. Jabin PU College has secured 681 out of 720 marks topping in the college. Vachana Ammanagi has secured 541 marks, Principal V.R. Waghmode has said in a release.

Ananya Karpur, of Veman Vidyavardhak Sangha’s K.H. Patil PU Science and Commerce, College, Hubballi, has scored 670 out of the 720, securing the All-India Ranking of 1,451.

Prerana Residential PU College, Hubballi, has once again registered good results in NEET. Three students, Fiza Anzum (641), Shreyas Fakkirswamy (637), and Vishal Sakri (600) have crossed or touched the 600 mark. Other toppers of the college are K. Chetan (595), Poojya Munyal (591), Sahana (564), Prachi Darak (558), Meghana Patil (553), Chinmay Salmani (547), Basavaraj Ijeri (540), and Ankita Jantli (528).

Aman Shanbhag of JSS R.S. Hukkerikar Arts, Commerce and Science PU College, Dharwad has secured 624 marks and Suraj has secured 607.

Students of Sana Shaheen PU College, Ayesha Siddiqa Dharwad (574), Mohammed Taha (541), Madiha Oomorose (524), and Umme Hifza Bilepasar (512) have topped the college.

NEET 2021: Muslims “State Topper” in 5 states

In an impressive academic performance once again Muslims have emerged as “NEET State Topper” in 5 states for the year 2021.

In an impressive academic performance once again Muslims have emerged as “NEET State Topper” in 5 states, including one abroad and overseas.

According to NEET 2021 Toppers’ List released Tuesday . Mohammad Zeya Belal, Zarina Batool, Farzina Yasmin Laskar, Shafeek Ahamed AM and Arsalan Mosaddiq are National Eligibility cum Entrance Test State Toppers (NEET UG 2021 Topper)in 5 states.

According to the NEET 2021 State Toppers List of 38 States and Union Territories, Zeya Belal, who also figured in the list of NEET 2021 Top 20, secured the first rank in Bihar. Zeya Belal has bagged 715 out of the total 720 marks in NEET 2021.

Other NEET Toppers 2021 who are Muslims include Zarina Batool who secured 596 marks and topped Ladakh, Farzina Yasmin Laskar who bagged 573 marks and topped Mizoram, whereas Shafeek Ahamed AM got a total of 489 and secured the first position in Lakshadweep,

The 5th Muslim topper is Arsalan Mosaddiq. Arsalan bagged 690 marks and topped NEET overseas centres.

The NTA did not disclose at which centre Arsalan appeared for NEET 2021. It was however announced that besides various exam centres in India, NEET was also held this year in Dubai and Kuwait .

In 2020, a total of 06 Muslim students had found their place in the list of NEET toppers. Among them was Shoyeb Aftab from Assam who had secured AIR 1 in 2020. Aftab is currently studying at AIIMS, New Delhi.

The NEET exams were conducted on September 12 at over 3,800 centres across 202 cities in India.

Around 16 lakh students from all over the country and abroad had applied to appear for the exam.

The NTA declared the NEET result Monday evening. In a first, the NTA sent the NEET score to the candidates on their registered e-mail addresses before publishing it on the official website.

Three students – Mrinal Kutteri from Hyderabad in Telangana, Tanmay Gupta from Delhi (NCR) and Karthika G Nair from Maharashtra have bagged 720 out of the total 720 marks in NEET UG 2021 and secured AIR 1, AIR 2 and AIR 3 ranks.
