Rahmani30 shines with record-breaking 67.5% success in ICAI CA Intermediate Exam, triumphant over national 19% average

In a remarkable triumph, Rahmani30, a trailblazing educational initiative dedicated to nurturing deserving students, recently attained an extraordinary milestone in the ICAI CA Intermediate exams.

Amidst a national average success rate of around 19%, Rahmani30 soared high with an unparalleled 67.5% achievement, etching an indelible mark in the institution’s history and setting an exceptional benchmark.

The ICAI CA Intermediate examination, a rigorous professional test administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, represents the pivotal second phase in the Chartered Accountancy course. Comprising two groups with four papers each, it stands distinct from the Senior Secondary School Examination, commonly known as 10 + 2 or Intermediate.

The 2023 ICAI CA Intermediate exam saw an impressive participation of 393,679 students undertaking the Group 1 & Group 2 tests, with 75,954 candidates successfully qualifying—a cumulative pass rate of 19.29%. In striking contrast, Rahmani30’s cohort of 40 students showcased an outstanding 67.5% success rate, underscoring the institution’s commitment to academic excellence. Noteworthy were the November 2023 results, revealing an outstanding 80% success rate among female students in CA Intermediate Group 1, celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in this domain.

•  Students currently in *8th, 9th, and 10th* grades are eligible to apply

• A test will be conducted for students in *10th* grade applying for admission to the *11th* preparatory course for Medical, Engineering & Commerce (CA/CS/CLAT).

• Students from *8th, 9th and 10th* grades will be selected for the *Rahmani30 Junior Program*.• Additionally, students from *8th, 9th, and 10th* grades will be chosen for online training this year.

Afruja of remote Assam village tops varsity exam and breaks barriers

Afruja Begum, a student of BH College, Barpeta, Assam, has secured first position in the Philosophy Department of the University of Guwahati. She scored 9.07 CGPA.

The University of Guwahati (GU) has announced the results of the Bachelor’s Degree Examination in Philosophy.  

Afruja’s achievement comes at a time when Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma has openly praised the talent of the youth of the rural areas. 

Afruja, daughter of Habel Ali, a resident of Bhandara Char village No. 4 in Bangagaon district, has brought joy to the underdeveloped area. 

“It was very difficult for me to leave home and take classes in college because our area is very backward. During the rainy season, the roads are flooded. There is no way to get there. So I stayed in hostel.”

Afruja is grateful to the college authorities for allowing her to stay when the hostel should be otherwise closed.

She says her parents inspired her to dream big and now she wants to enroll for a postgraduate degree.

Afruja Begum’s father runs a small business. The village of Bhandara Char  where he lives is very inaccessible. The roads are in poor condition.

Afruja Begum is happy that despite coming from a remote village topped in the Philosophy department of the University of Guwahati in the Bachelor’s Examination results. 

Meanwhile, a delegation led by AMSU President Rezaul Karim Sarkar visited the house of Afruja and felicitated her and her parents with flowers, gomochas, sharai, pens and books. 

“We are delighted with the performance of Afruja, a daughter from a very remote area like Bhandara Char village. She studied with great sacrifice and hard work. We wish her even better results in the coming days We hope he will be a good citizen who can serve the region,” said, Rezaul Karim Sarkar, AMSU President.

Karnataka has highest number of top scorers in CLAT-2023 UG and PG

Two candidates, one each from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, secured 100 percentile and emerged as all India toppers.

Eight students from Karnataka, the highest for any State, have emerged as top scorers in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2023) results for undergraduate and postgraduate streams declared by the Consortium of National Law Universities on December 23, Friday.

Two candidates, one each from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, secured 100 percentile and emerged as all India toppers. One candidate from Karnataka secured a percentile of 99.97, two secured 99.96 and one each secured a percentile of 99.95, 99.94, 99.93 and 99.92 in CLAT UG from Karnataka.

Kshitika Tyagi of Bengaluru got an All India Rank (AIR) of 12 with 106.75 score and a percentile of 99.97 in CLAT-2023 UG. Speaking to The Hindu, she said she started preparing for the exam and found the subject very interesting. “I want to join the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru,” she said.

Another topper from Karnataka, Ayesha Khan, AIR 17 with 105.75 score and 99.96 percentile, said her dream had come true. “From a very young age, I always wanted to be a lawyer, and I will be one now,” she said. 

The CLAT-2023 was conducted at 127 centres in 23 States and two Union Territories. A total of 94.87% of the candidates who enrolled appeared for the examination, of which 56% are females 44% are males and 2 are transgenders.

The duration of the CLAT 2023 UG test was 120 minutes. The test had five sections, with a total of 150 questions. One question was withdrawn in the final answer key. The highest mark secured in CLAT 2023 UG is 116.75. CLAT 2023 PG had one section comprising 120 questions and the highest mark secured is 95.25.
