Bearys Group bags three top honours at WSO India Awards 2025

The Bearys Group has made a clean sweep at the World Safety Organisation (WSO) India Awards 2025, winning three major recognitions for its excellence in safety, sustainability, and leadership.

At the 6th Annual WSO India OHS&E Professional Development Symposium and the 4th edition of the WSO India (State) Level OHS&E Awards held at The Lalit, Mumbai, on October 14, the Group emerged as one of the top performers in the country.

Among the winners was the NTT Data Center (DC2B) in Ambattur, Chennai, developed by Bearys, which received the Platinum 5-Star Award for “Most Outstanding Performance in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E)” the highest recognition in its category.

Another project, the NTT Data Center (NAV1C) in Mahape, Navi Mumbai, also developed by Bearys, won the Gold 4-Star Award for “Outstanding Performance in OHS&E.”

In addition to these project-level awards, Syed Mohamed Beary, Founder and CMD of Bearys Group, was conferred with the “Individual Achievement in Leadership” award by WSO India. The honour acknowledges his “exemplary leadership, sustainability-driven vision, and lifelong contribution to creating safer, greener, and smarter built environments.”

Terming the recognitions as a “hat-trick of excellence,” Bearys Group said in a statement that the awards reaffirm its commitment to “Building for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” where innovation, integrity, and safety remain the foundation of all its endeavours.

The triple win marks another milestone in the Group’s long-standing pursuit of sustainable and safe development practices across its projects nationwide.

Bearys Institute of Technology hosts BSSF Scholarship Distribution Program

The Bearys Shiksha Suraksha Foundation (BSSF) Scholarship Distribution Program was held on January 11, 2025, at the Seminar Hall of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT). The event aimed to support the education of the children of BIT’s staff members and contribute to community development.

The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address from Principal Dr. S.I. Manjur Basha, who emphasized the importance of the BSSF initiative in fostering educational growth. A total of Rs. 4,79,000 was awarded in scholarships, reflecting the institution’s commitment to empowering future generations through education.

Chairman Syed Mohamed Beary delivered a motivational speech, highlighting the transformative impact of collective efforts in advancing community welfare through education. Distinguished guests also commended the Bearys team for their consistent dedication to education and social initiatives.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Heena Kausar P A, who expressed gratitude to the management, staff, and attendees for their support.

Bearys Group, Mangalore has been awarded the “Outstanding Performance in Construction OHS&E Excellence Award” by the World Safety Organization (WSO), India. The recognition was given for the group’s work on the “Microsoft Data Centre-HYD01” project in Hyderabad.

Syed Mohamed Beary, Founder and CMD of Bearys Group, expressed pride in the recognition and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to prioritizing safety and quality in all their projects.

“Today we have walked the talk and demonstrated our unwavering commitment to ‘Safety First – Project Best’ – ‘Quality First – Project Best’. We remain dedicated to promoting safety, health, and environmental stewardship across all our projects. This is a proud moment for Bearys and we rededicate ourselves to raise the bar further and make Safety & Quality the sine qua non of all our endeavors,” Syed Mohamed Beary said.

The award was presented at the 5th World Safety Organization OHS&E Professional Development Symposium held at Feathers A Radha Hotel, Chennai, on September 27.
